Boston Butts On Sale Now
Pick Up February 21, 1-3 PM
Upward Basketball is selling Boston Butts again this year. The cost is $45 for approximately 6-8 lbs. of cooked pork. They will be available for pick up on Saturday, February 21, from 1-3 PM in the fellowship room. Tickets can be purchased from 9-3 on Saturdays during basketball games or from the church office weekdays between 9-2. All money goes towards equipment and other Upward basketball-related needs.
Valentine’s Banquet
Saturday, February 14, 6-8 PM
Looking for a date night for Valentine’s Day? Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse may be out of your price range, but our youth ministry is hosting a dinner event that you can afford. The menu is salad, baked potato, pork chop, chicken, dessert, and drinks. Tickets are $20 per person. Childcare is available on site for an additional $5 per child. See one of our students today. Tickets will be sold through February 6.
All proceeds will help defray the cost of our Student Ministry Summer Beach Trip.
Journey Through The Bible

Whether you are new to the Bible or have read the Bible all your life, you will be amazed at what we can learn together. This weekly study is being led by Ralph and Lisa Corduan. Invite a friend!
Bible Study and Prayer

You are invited to a special Bible study, with prayer and refreshments. Suzy Frady is leading this six-week study on Thursdays from 6-7 PM at the home of Barbara Derrick
(212 Lake Frances Drive, West Columbia).
2026 Bible Reading Plan
For 2026, we are going to read the F260 Bible Reading Plan. It will take us through all 66 books of the Bible in a year, highlighting key chapters in every book. This plan will give you the flexibility to read 5 days per week, and it includes suggested verses to memorize. We will make these available in print and online.

Missions Opportunities
Operation Christmas Child
Samaritan’s Purse has used OCC to deliver hundreds of thousands of shoeboxes around the world to help children hear the message of the gospel. In order to help with collecting items needed for shoeboxes, we will ask for you to find specific items each month.
For the month of January, we are collecting: MITTENS, GLOVES, SCARVES, and BEANIES. Next time you’re at the store, would you remember to buy some of these items and drop them off here at the church? Let’s fill the tub!
CBC Food Closet
Friday, January 30, 11 AM – 1 PM
As a reminder, our monthly Food Closet will offer food to those in need on Friday, January 30, from 11 AM to 1 PM. If you know of someone who could benefit from this, please let them know. We would appreciate any help you can give towards donating items for distribution. Specifically, we are in need of: cereal, pop tarts, grits, oatmeal, any canned meat products, peanut butter, jelly, Vienna sausages, canned fruit, cornbread mix, spaghetti sauce.
If you would prefer to contribute financially, we will also be buying items through Harvest Hope Food Bank to supplement what we collect.
Clothing With Blessings

Clothing with Blessings will be open Saturday, February 14, from 10-1. Ken Frady is leading this incredible effort to give back to the community second-hand clothes. Items include men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, shoes and coats. These items are available to the communities surrounding South Congaree.
LBA Disaster Relief Breakfast and Training

Are you looking for a way to serve in crisis moments? Join others in our association on February 21 for a Disaster Relief Breakfast and Training. Learn how to respond with confidence, compassion, and the hope of Christ when disaster strikes. You must register via mylba.org.
Drive Thru Prayer

7:00-8:30 AM
Join the pastor in front of the church for Drive-thru prayer. We’ll be set up with a tailgate tent to pray with folks as they drive up. This is an easy way to meet real needs of folks in our community.
