MINISTRY DESCRIPTION

Sunday School –
We offer Sunday School Classes for all ages, nursery through Senior citizen. You are welcome to visit and find a class that is right for you. You will find friendly groups and sound teaching of God’s Word. We use the Bible, literature from Lifeway Publishers, the printing division of the Southern Baptist Convention for our lessons.

Music –

We have a vibrant music program, led by our wonderful director. We have very talented musicians. We are also blessed with excellent individuals who run our sound system. We offer graded choir for children and youth, as well as an adult choir. Our music style is normally traditional with some Southern Gospel flavoring.

Nursery –
We are pleased to offer nursery care for those from birth until 2 years. The nursery is available Sunday mornings during Sunday School and worship, and during Sunday evening worship. Caregivers have passed Criminal Background Checks and must meet very strict guidelines imposed by the church. All workers are CPR certified.

Roadrunners –
Roadrunners is a ministry geared towards the senior citizens. This Group meets the second Monday of each month at 11 am in the Shadows of the Cross Classroom. Typically there is a devotion, prayer time, fellowship, a covered dish lunch and some type of program, such as guest singers, artist, antique appraiser, games, etc. This joyful group sometimes takes road trips (thus the name road- runners) to delightful destinations.
