Kids For Christ children’s program begins this Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and will end August 11, 2010. If you can help with this ministry please contact Annette Havens.
Child Abuse Reporting Sessions
There will be two “Child Abuse Reporting” Sessions in August. These sessions are August 14 & 15. You do not have to attend both days. This session is mandatory for all members that work with children. Anyone else who would like to attend to learn the process of reporting child abuse, please let Annette Havens know in advance. Times and more information to come.
Wmu is sponsoring a school supply drive to help support missionaries at Finger Lakes Baptist Association. As you shop for your school supplies this year, please consider picking up a few extra items listed below to help make our Christmas in August a success. Boxes will be located in the main Sunday School hall and in the Children’s building. Wednesday, August 25, our children will meet for a “Christmas” party to wrap and pack these supplies. Details to follow. Items needed: pencil boxes, #2 pencils, 24-pack crayons, 8-pack colored markers, pens, children’s safety scissors, erasers, rulers, and personal size hand sanitizer.

Northside Baptist, West Columbia First Baptist, & Faith Baptist Church - Swansea for loaning decorations to our church and donations of children's books. Last But not least the parents for bringing their children to VBS. Without them we would not be here.
