Greetings from your Pastor
God commands that we should assemble ourselves together, until Jesus comes (Hebrews 10:25). We are commanded not only to meet together, but to help each other (verse 24). Christianity is an individual thing, but it is not only an individual thing. There is to be true community, offering true spiritual and material help to each other. In the New Testament Church the Christians are called upon to be in close contact personally.
We must reach, love each other, and reach humanity with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God bless,
The RoadRunners will meet on
Monday, July 12 at 11 a.m. in the gym.
This will be a covered dish meal so please prepare a dish for our lunch together.
Our program of music will be presented by Hal and Kathy Whitaker of West
Columbia. Please mark your calendar so you don’t miss this event!
We love visitors so you are welcome to come and be a part of us!
See you there!

Senior Adult Coordinator

I’m sure it is getting homesick!
Kidskamp—Congaree
Kidskamp Congaree was held June 14-18, 2010 at the Congaree Arena. Congaree Baptist was responsible for the activities during the camp. The activities included inflatable, face painting, teaching memory verses, and much more! We had 52 volunteers from CBC! The total number of kids registered was 1,386 and an average attendance per night was 1,000 kids.
During the week there were 400 people that accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as their personal Savior or rededicated their lives to Him. Praise God! He is working in a mighty way in our community!
Thanks to all who volunteered, it would not have been such a success without you! Thanks Carla Kopacz for being out representative for this worthwhile event!
Youth
The youth went to Myrtle Beach on a mission trip in June. We had some really awesome experiences being missionaries to others. It was great to use our youth’s gifts and talents to see them glorify the Lord.
Yes, the beach was pretty cool, too! We enjoyed ourselves in the waves and on the sand. Thank you for all the prayers for our travel and our work while on the mission trip.
During the summer we will have activities for the youth. We are going swimming and on other field trips to keep them active in the Word! We encourage all youth to invite friends to attend these outings so they can see what Jesus is all about and that Christians do have fun!
We are in the process of planning a youth outing to Connie Maxwell
Children’s Home. More details coming soon!
