Intercessory Prayer
Pastor McLain will be having Intercessory Prayer in the Sanctuary this morning at 9:00 am to pray for the lost. Everyone is invited to come and pray.

Flowers are placed in the Sanctuary today in honor of Fred and Roslyn Smith’s 29th wedding anniversary.

Children’s Church
Children’s Church is offered during the Morning Worship Service each Sunday. Children in grades K-4 thru 2nd are invited to come to Children’s Church at 10:30 am. Children in 3rd – 6th grades should go to the Sanctuary for worship and will be dismissed for Children’s Church following the Special Music. Children’s Church is located in the Children’s Building.
Nursery
A nursery is provided for the Morning & Evening Worship Services. Children up to age 3 are invited. If you have a child with special needs, please contact our Nursery Coordinator, Marie Hook. The nursery is located in the Children’s Building.
New Believers Class
There will be a New Believers Class today at 9:30 am.
Operation Christmas Child
The Children’s Department would like to thank you for your support of Operation Christmas Child’s Shoe Box Ministry. We will be collecting donations for the postage on these boxes today. Each box costs $7 to ship. If you would like to make a donation, please fill out a pink designated envelope, mark as Shoe Box Ministry, and place in the offering plate.
Personnel Committee Meeting
There will be a brief meeting of the Personnel Committee following the Morning Worship Service today.
Community Thanksgiving Service
We will be participating in the Community Thanksgiving Service tonight at Dunn’s Chapel at 6:00 pm. We will not have activities or worship service at Congaree this evening. Please join us at Dunn’s Chapel. A meal will be served following the service.
Beth Moore Bible Study
The Beth Moore Bible Study will not be held today or next Sunday. The final study will be held on Sunday, December 6, at 4:15 pm. Ladies are asked to bring a food item to exchange in order to imitate a Jewish celebration.
Wednesday Activities Cancelled
There will be no activities this Wednesday evening, November 25, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Thanksgiving Office Hours
The Church Office hours this week will be Monday and Wednesday from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm rather than Monday and Thursday due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Please note that the bulletin deadline this week is Wednesday at 10 am.
Attention, Youth!
All youth need to pick up their permission slips for the Carolina/Clemson Game and the Lock-In. Please return as soon as possible to Eva Warren or Jason Sturkie.
Upward Referee Training
There will be training for Upward Basketball referees on Monday, November 30, and Monday, December 1, at 7:00 pm in the Gym for anyone interested in refereeing. Please bring your calendar with you. You need only attend one of the meetings.
Secret Sisters
It’s time to sign up for Secret Sisters for the New Year. Forms are available in the main hallway. Please fill out a form if you would like to participate and return it to the church office, Linda Lucas, Vicky McLain or Ancha Sturkie no later than December 9.
Family Movie Night
Come join us on Saturday, December 5, at 6:00 pm for Family Movie Night. We will enjoy pizza, popcorn, and the movie “Polar Express.” The cost is $5 per family to cover the cost of dinner and refreshments. Bring your beach chairs or blankets and dress the kids in their pj’s! Please sign-up and purchase a ticket from the Children’s Department by November 29 if you plan to attend.
Children’s Christmas Musical
On Sunday, December 6, our preschoolers will be singing during our Morning Worship Service and the older children will be presenting a Christmas Musical during our Evening Worship Service.
Youth Get-Together
The youth will meet at the home of Tim and Nikki Wojcik on Saturday, November 28, to watch the Carolina/Clemson game. The time is to be announced. Contact Tim or Nikki for more information.
Youth T-Shirt Design Contest
The youth are having a T-shirt design contest for new shirts. Please submit your ideas (on paper) to Jason Sturkie no later than noon on December 13. See Jason for more information.
